At Howell Industries, Inc. we have over 50,000 square feet of machine and fabrication shop facilities.
We have a full service Machine shop with CNC MILL and LATHE capabilities. We have Horizontal Boring Mills and several Vertical Boring Mills, the largest with a 118" table. We have a full range of Lathes with our largest capable of swinging 50 inches with 20 feet between centers. A large part of our business is in repair of rotating equipment, such as pumps, turbines, gear boxes, etc. We are one of the largest Job Machine shops between Houston and New Orleans. We are currently holders of the ASME "U" and the NBIC "R" Code Stamps. We have the capabilities to repair or build complete pressure vessels, towers, exchanger shells, etc. We are known for specialized welding in alloy materials such as Alloy 600, stainless steels (all grades), Hastalloy, Monel and many different types of hard surfacing materials.
